The NGO Get-up International organized the first edition of the youth forum for development (FOJED-RDC). The forum was drawn up under the theme “promoting the sustainable development of the DRC: the contribution of young people in the implementation of the SDGs”. The debate focused on four main concerns, including:
education for peace and civic education: what contribution for the implementation of the SDGs, health system, pandemic and epidemic, vaccination, and impact of scientific research in achieving the SDGs, the impact of digital media and the contribution of entrepreneurship and the right to economic freedom, what contribution in the implementation of the SDG workforce, poverty, gender and empowerment of women what contribution to the SDGs in the DRC.
At the last point that closed the activity, the panelists called on women to know how to make sense of things while remaining autonomous.
Note that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the 2030 Agenda. They define a better world tomorrow. They apply to all nations and aim to ensure that no one is left behind.
