Within a year, more than 100,000 smallholder farmers in the Afroagripreneurs Network database.

From June 02, 2022 to June 02, 2023, a first year with a great achievement in terms of advanced technology for our network. Afroagripreneurs Networ have the aim of bringing famers together to do sustainable and climate-smart agriculture and developing the countries’ local economies. By 2030, the network aims to integrate more than 1 million young people to help reduce the unemployment rate in Africa and the Caribbean. The company is legally registered with the State services in the Trade and Credit Register No. 22-B-00477 and Tax Identification No. A2212653D.

It is since 2022 that we have moved on to identifying farms in Africa and the Caribbean, the financial and technical partners of farmers. The statistics from this first year of data collection and extraction shows us that in 12 months Afroagripreneurs Network was able to obtain information from over 100,000 farmers distributed as follows:

  • DR Congo, Uganda, Burundi, Tchad, Kenya, Mali, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Djibouti,Togo,Burkina Faso,Senegal,Benin… are the most represented countries.
  • Fruits and vegetable, processing, coffee-cocoa, cereals, milk, meat, olisseet, tube die, distribution, input, water, climate and environment, wine, recycling, capacity building,… are the most represented agricultural sectors.
